In the studio, you sing and play to the ghosts around you.

This is a gentle song about confronting the loss of a friend shortly after I myself was almost fatally sick. The more time passes by, the more this becomes the subject at hand - but living artfully means it's nothing to be morose about. It's a continuing miracle to be here and to be able to savor the moment, and reach out to the Soul around you however you can.

This was recorded in a New York studio above 48th street. My buddy Robert and I played the acoustic in the Richards/Wood unplugged style, and I added the drums (trying to play like Charlie Watts) and bass (just playing like me.)
